While increasingly more aspects of our lives are shifting into the digital realm, content is presented to us in new ways as well. In particular film is consumed new ways, on various platforms and through different channels. Consequently in a array of ratios and dimensions – landscape or portrait, on mobile, laptop or classic cinema screen.
The change has ben visualised with an adaptive grid used throughout the communication campaign for the 15th edition of the shnit shortfilmfestival. At the same time the versatility of a film block – containing between 10 to 15 short films – has been made visible.
shnit is a worldwide shortfilmfestival, originating in Bern, Switzerland. Simultaneously it’s also taking place in Bangkok, Buenos Aires, Cairo, Cape Town, Hong Kong, Moscow and San José.
The poster design has been awarded with the “100 Best Posters in Germany, Austria and Switzerland 2017”.
